Draper James: Thanks and Giving

Today was a day for the books, y'all! I literally couldn't believe it when Draper James asked me to be their spokesperson blogger for the Thanks and Giving charity event. One of my favorite stores asking me to do a Snapchat takeover? Is this real life?! Of course I said, "Absolutely!"

To give you a little background on this phenomenal collaboration, Draper James hosted a charity event with 25% off entire purchases with 15% of the proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House of the Bluegrass.  The Ronald McDonald House charity ensures children and their families can be together during times of illness and hospitalization.  This hits really close to home because, as a nurse anesthetist, I have rotated in many hospitals that participate in the Ronald McDonald House charity to assist pediatric patients undergoing surgery and their family members. What an honor to be able to promote this with one of the best southern female fashion brands!

Located in the Summit at Fritz Farm in Lexington, Kentucky, the Draper James store has a plethora of gorgeous clothing, accessories, and home accents for the classy southern woman.  At this event, I had the honor of donning their Blooming Lace Skirt (click here) and the Crystal Dots Clementine Top (click here) - both perfect for any holiday event!

They had live Bluegrass music, a hot cocoa bar with handcrafted marshmallows by Crank and Boom, donuts from North Lime Lex, and a free tote with every purchase.

The Thanks and Giving event not only gave back to charity, but also gave back to you!  Shoppers were able to put their name in a raffle consisting of a $100 Draper James gift card and a "Totes Y'all" tote autographed by Reese Witherspoon, herself!! What a way to start out the Christmas season!

I was absolutely honored to have participated in this wonderful charity event with Draper James and the Ronald McDonald House of the Bluegrass...and I'm so grateful to share this adventure with you!
