Brunch at Mesh

Who else likes Saturday brunch?  As I've gotten older, I have found a subtle love for this in-between meal.  My mom has passed the fine dining gene over to me through the years, and she recently stumbled upon a new restaurant in Louisville called "Mesh".  After taking a mere glance at the brunch menu, we knew we had to try it as soon as possible.  Since Matt was going to a football game with one of his police officer friends this morning, we decided to take the opportunity to have a family brunch at Mesh.

Obviously first comes first - mimosas for the table! Even Dad got one! The orange juice is freshly squeezed, making this the perfect start to our Saturday brunch.  We ordered the BLT deviled eggs as our appetizer, and they were to die for!  A combination of traditional deviled eggs with sweet pickles, bacon crumbles, tomatoes, and avocado creme - heaven.

My dad ordered the Maker's Mark chicken and waffles with honey bourbon butter.

Mom had the house special steak omelet with white cheddar and breakfast potatoes.

And I ordered the crab benedict with fried green tomato, tomasco hollandaise, and fresh fruit.  I could have literally licked the plate clean.  Sorry Matt, no leftovers this time!

Everything was absolutely divine and we cannot wait to go again!  The next time you're searching for the perfect brunch spot in Louisville, I highly recommend trying Mesh!
